I finally took the ACOTAR plunge in September, if for nothing else but to cease being the only individual in my many female-led FB fiction groups that had not yet read that series. I hate being uninformed on pop fiction, of any genre! I don’t know why #4 was even written as its own book, #3 was the best IMO, and #5 was unnecessarily racy. Looking forward to #6’s release, but won’t hold my breath for it, as I found the series to be somewhat inconsistent in terms of entertainment value! But when it was good, it was super good!

Ah! I've been on the fence about starting the ACOTAR series for a while, as I've heard mixed reviews. (In some circles, I've heard the second one is the best?) But I don't think you're alone in disliking the fourth one. Perhaps it's one I'll pick up over the holidays and cap it at the third... Thank you so much for sharing your experience with it!

Thank you so much! I've seen Anyone But You (really enjoyed it), but Michael hasn't yet, so maybe that'll be my next pick!

Look at you, pushing out a great newsletter during a difficult month; baddie alert! You watched SO many movies this month, which always reminds me of how few I tend to watch lately! Looking forward to a When Harry Met Sally rewatch, as I do every Fall, and softer Halloween movies for me are Hocus Pocus and Beetlejuice! I’ve also been listening to Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney and it is spooky and British and all things fun; would highly recommend!

Awww, thank you. ❤️ Ha ha! So many movies this month, but we always chose them over television. There's something about finishing a narrative arc in one sitting that I love! That said, the latest seasons of the Great Canadian AND British Bake-Off have started again, so there'll be more TV in my immediate future... When Harry Met Sally is the perfect fall flick. And thank you for those recommendations! Definitely adding to the list.
